Ravencar was not only great value and perfectly located but very clean and had good facilities. Helen was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her to make my stay enjoyable. I have travelled the world extensively and I can quite honestly say that Helen provides 5 star service. Breakfast provided a varied choice and was delicious. I even set up an agility course one day to train my puppy. I will definitely be visiting again.

We didn’t have breakfast has I don’t eat it. There is a kitchen if someone did want to cook a breakfast or meal. The room was lovely and very clean. It was very quiet and safe feeling

Newly refurbished room, comfy bed, good shower. Pleasant welcome. Good full English breakfast. Our room overlooked the road but was quiet. They don't do evening meals but are happy for you to bring in a takeaway and eat it in the bar.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
We liked the style of the property.
Location - very quiet and not overlooked.
Sonia & Bill are a really lovely couple - they were welcoming, and they take an interest in their guests.
Exceptionally clean and tidy accommodation, and you can see the passion that's been put into the property.
We highly recommend staying at Nancys Cabin - you will not be disappointed.
Thank you x
We've stayed here before and it is very convenient for us visiting family in the area. It is very warm, has everything we need and is close to Morrison's for anything else we need. The area is very quiet and we feel safe having our car parked in the driveway. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. Also close to lots of sightseeing like Hardwick Hall and the Peak District.
Perfect breakfast and dinner in the lounge, which was busy and nice to see on a tuesday evening. I couldn't fault the food and the offer of 50% discount was great, thank you. Staff were very attentive. Would definitely stay again. Lovely big bedroom and bathroom. Was very quiet at night which was lovely. Easy to find and great location.
Well appointed room, temperature was just right (freezing outside) and not too hot. Room clean and well-maintained and it was also quiet. Velux above the bed meant that daylight woke me at the right time (8am) but there was an option shutter for closing it. Night under the stars!
Dining was cheap with 50% off food! So I could splash out a bit on wine and a digestif!
Breakfast was good with flaky and warm croissants, a modest fry-up (I don't like too much) but black pudding too, which I love but not for breakfast!
