The location is lovely, our room was spacious and pretty clean. The bathroom was quite worn down, but everything worked. We felt welcome and the staff was friendly. Despite the pub downstairs, it is a very calm and relaxing environment. The location offers loads of walking possibilities. oh, and the food was lovely!

Quiet location (room faced the rear of the hotel). Warm, comfortable large room with period features. Very comfortable bed. Great dinner menu and excellent breakfast.
Very quirky. We were fortunate in having a quiet room as there was a live band playing in the bar area. Lovely big room with a basin - we didn’t pay for an en suite. Excellent breakfast in comfy dining room.
