The location is stunning. As is the property itself which is a beautifully renovated farmhouse, originally called Camlan Uchaf, which is hundreds of years old. The owners have renovated it to a high standard and have kept all the original features. Robin and Jane made us feel very welcome. The room was lovely, small and cosy (as to be expected) with the most comfortable four poster bed! Heaven! All facilities were super. Delicious breakfast too. It was also lovely to sit in the old kitchen (now lounge area) and have a beer - a beautiful room. A most enjoyable time! Diolch!

Beautiful little guest house, fabulous decor, loved the art too. Glyn, the host, couldn't do enough to make us feel welcomed. Highly recommended, as is a meal at the Riverside pub at the bottom of the road (also, it seems, run by the indefatigable Glyn).

Breakfast was a great start to the day. Very quiet and comfortable. Easy to find.
And I did not know it was at the railway terminus until after we booked but my spouse does not believe me.

Spacious room. Ethical bathroom products. Choices of tea. Complimentary snacks. Luxurious bedding/sheets. Interesting & useful information about area.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Great room with everything we needed, large four poster bed, great touches like dressing gowns, a fan , plenty of towels, snacks, mini fridge, toiletries etc. Excellent breakfast, made to order with high quality ingredients. Beautiful scenery and views all around the Firecat, plus lots of walks and places to see just a short drive away. Jane and Robin were fantastic hosts who made us feel warm and welcome the whole time, we’d love to come back to stay again.
