Exceptional breakfast, we both had eggs Benedict (one with smoked salmon and gluten free bread). Outside patio for drinks was very nice, and welcomed at the end of a long day. The room was large and comfortable with a nice size bathroom and shower! Good for a longer stay.

The location was fantastic and convenient for everything we wanted to do. The host, Kim, was very kind and helpful and passionate about making our stay comfortable and memorable. The breakfast was phenomenal and surpassed expectations. The little extras dotted around the room really made the stay luxurious and pleasant. The food recommendations (we tried two places) were spot-on and Kim is very keen to make sure her advice is a personal recommendation. All in all, would very happily return again without hesitation.

The room was a standard double but was perfectly fine for us. We stayed in Till. Very quiet location. Staff great. The breakfasts were excellent and could not fault the evening meals which were fantastic - the fish and chips, the belly pork and the soufflé were tried and enjoyed. Best to book a table as it is very popular. Plenty of parking. Great for Berwick, the Farne Islands and the Northumbrian coastline.

It was in a perfect location for exploring, it was warm, quiet and comfortable, extremely good value for money, the staff were very friendly and the veggie breakfast was nice. The village is gorgeous, and the pub very welcoming. Private parking right in front of our room, separate door to the accommodation so you don't have to go through the pub each time, brilliant.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. We hadn't booked a meal. Although they were busy they made room for us and didn't make us feel we were making extra work. My husband loved the Bellhaven beer. Very nice going up our 'own' staircase to a very big room. It felt nice and private and so quiet. Very comfortable bed.

Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean, comfortable room with a great shower - not the biggest room for the money, but it had everything we needed. The dinner was very good and the choice at breakfast was excellent. The Black Bull is in a great location, but being 2 - 3 miles off the motorway is also very quiet at night.
