We couldn’t fault our three night stay at Penrose B&B. It is located on the edge of Lostwithiel on a short hill but within easy walking distance of the town centre, pubs and restaurants. The owners Chris and Heidi were very welcoming and would go the extra mile with any help you needed. The breakfast was cooked to order so always hot and fresh. Our bedrooms and bathroom were clean and spacious with plenty of storage. The car park is small but big enough to accommodate the guests.
Situated in the small town of Lostwithiel, at the head of the estuary of River Fowey, Royal Oak Inn boasts elegant rooms, a restaurant, free Wi-Fi, free parking, and easy access to the picturesque...

Sara & Kevin were the perfect hosts. Very helpful and friendly. Were there to help in any way they could. Would heartily recommend this as a place to stay.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Fantastic night at the Penrose B&B! Thoroughly charming place run by the lovely Heidi and Chris who were super accommodating, attentive and caring. Our room was spacious and comfortable but still cosy and full of character. All facilities used were excellent and the breakfast was delicious. Great location for the Eden Project, and was easy to find. Would have loved to stay for longer!
Great location and beautiful modern apartment. Great amenities and lots of space. Bedrooms very stylish and comfortable. Tv in every bedroom. Balcony to sir out on and watch the world go by but also very quiet. Definitely the best property I have stayed in in Cornwall.
Pia is lovely and very helpful. Great location (and the pubs and various eateries in Lostwithiel are walkable and of good quality) and very serene for those who like a "quiet" getaway.
Great Breakfast in a beautiful environment.
Great hosts, Chris and Heidi were always available to help.
Perfect quiet place to enjoy some days off.
Clean room and it was cleaned every day as well.
Spotlessly clean and still comfortable and charming. Delicious breakfasts prepared to order. Lostwithiel is a great location itself, but it had the added bonus of being quite centrally located in the county, so a great base to explore Cornwall. Heidi and Chris gave great advice on places to visit and where to eat. Really great hosts.
