We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Old Bell, and it was truly a standout experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by our warm and welcoming host, who made sure every part of our stay was comfortable and memorable. Their attentiveness and genuine hospitality set the tone for a wonderful visit.
Our room was pristine, cosy, and beautifully decorated, blending modern comforts with the hotel’s charming historic character. The thoughtful touches—from complimentary refreshments to luxurious toiletries—made us feel pampered and at ease.

Room very nicely decorated and plenty of space. Bed was very comfortable. Excellent night's sleep. Very quiet location. Breakfast served in room was very well presented, plentiful and delicious. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful.
The hosts were fantastic, the farm was beautiful and surrounded by lovely animals and it was very nice and quiet. We were well taken care - they gave us a little tour, drove us around town and offered to help us throughout our trip.

First of all the atmosphere of the house - "transported" us 100 years ago: the furniture, the books, the bed and curtains (very Scottish), the crockery…etc, all contributing to the total relaxation. Second, the GREEN in front of the bedroom window, the infinity green…fields, bushes, plants… quietness. Simon -the owner, was very kind and gave us everything we needed.
It was amazing to wake up in the morning with a beautiful landscape and incredible neighbours (horses). This venue is a great choice for discovering suffolk and enjoying a quiet time.
Very good night's sleep in a comfortable room. Excellent breakfast and delightful views over the countryside at the rear of the house.
