The Old Vicarage, hotel in Kington

Set in Kington and only 46 km from Elan Valley, The Old Vicarage offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Nicola was extremely kind, I had delicious homemade baked cakes in my room and bath salts. After my five days walking and camping on Church floors it was perfect luxury. Breakfast was delicious and the room was beautiful and comfortable with views over their stunning garden. I was given a great route to get to Ludlow with the best views and entry via the old bridge.

Great location, just off the Offa's Dyke Path. The sauna and steam room were great after several long days running. This is my second stay here. The staff are very friendly & helpful (especially the bubbly girl on breakfast duty) and the hotel is clean.

The apartment is close to the town centre, but in a quiet new block with a lift and on site parking. It is exceptionally well equipped, beautifully clean and very private. The two bathrooms are a nice bonus.

Our room was really lovely- spacious worth the extra money - very comy bed. Clean bright. private quiet and away from the main hotel which meant we slept well despite overlooking carpark/ road. A minor issue is light coming in through blinds - curtains would be much better for light sleepers
