Black Lion was perfect for a quick solo travel trip! The bed was comfy with plenty of pillows & warm, clean, white linens. Bathroom was clean and shower was very new and enjoyable! The pub staff was very helpful and friendly with check in and any questions I had. Central location around lots of good restaurants in Surbiton and complimentary coffee, tea, and cocoa were a plus! Very good value for money and the property is in a brilliant location for access to public transport. The train station is a short stroll away. Alex is an excellent host - friendly and efficient, providing detailed instructions on how to get to the property. The accommodation is clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom and very quiet. A delicious continental breakfast was included and consisted of fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, home-made bread and spreads. I would definitely stay again if coming to this part of London.
