Staff were all brilliant. Warm welcome, efficient and service was first-class. The room was bright, airy and clean, and everything worked well. Easy to park. The evening meal was very good, with a varied standard menu and enterprising specials on the board. Sensible wine list.

The Vernon, hotel in Inkberrow

Situated in the rural parish of Hanbury, The Vernon boasts an award-winning restaurant, free Wi-Fi throughout, and free onsite parking.

Room was clean and decorated to a high standard, however on a busy road so noisy with traffic. Breakfast was good, however disorganised in terms of getting correct order, on 3rd attempt we got our correct breakfast. Evening meal was poor, a lot not available on the menu, steak was over cooked and the sharing Camembert starter was tiny. It seemed that they couldn’t cope as they had a table of 20 booked in an hour before us. Was a long wait for our meal and then between the starter and main, but this didn’t bother us really. We did see other tables sending their meals back also. Staff were very apologetic for the delay.

Quaint old English pub with accommodation. The staff were very welcoming and even offered to collect us from a local wedding so that I could have a drink. I left my earrings behind accidentally and they offered to post them back to me.

Real ale pub with rooms, there was plenty of parking behind the pub. Quaint, in a tiny village but on the major road. Bed was clean and comfortable but it is hard to think of many more positives.
