The room was very cosy and comfortable. The food was amazing and very tasty, and girls waiting in the restaurant were two of the best waitresses I've ever experienced, and I travel a lot. Very very enjoyable stay.

Monkton Court House B&B, hotel in Honiton

Monkton Court House provides self-contained accommodations in Honiton with free high-speed WiFi and private entrances. The accommodations are 31 km from Exeter.

The location is excellent for a stop during a drive as it is right on the A30, but conversely, you can hear the traffic a little. The breakfast was fantastic, we had the full English and the eggs royale; both were very tasty and prepared with great ingredients.

The Belfry at Yarcombe, hotel in Honiton

A 4-star award-winning boutique B&B, The Belfry is an historical old school building in the village of Yarcombe Nr Honiton.

Lovely old building, spotlessly clean, nice sized room with good tea making facilities and toiletries also provided. Extra milk, juices are kept in a small fridge in the hallway for anyone to help themselves to. Good choice of cereals etc and cooked breakfast options also available. There is a church across the road which chimes, which we loved, but there are ear plugs supplied to those who don't appreciate the sound of a church bell! There's a couple of tables outside where guests can sit out and enjoy a drink if the weather is kind (which it was for us 😁)

Red Lion, hotel in Honiton

Set in the village of Broadclyst on the outskirts of Exeter, Red Lion provides a garden. Located around 7 km from Sandy Park Rugby Stadium, the inn is also 6 km away from Westpoint Arena.

We stayed at the “ Red Lion” for 1 night as we were due to fly out of Exeter airport the next day. We stayed in the apartment, when we arrived we were given a warm welcome and made to feel at home straight away. The apartment was comfortable and cosy with everything you would need. The pub itself had a lovely atmosphere and made us feel more than welcome with lovely food but what stood out was the staff, you were made to feel like part of the family. A perfect start to our holiday.

Location, peace & quiet. The property has views of scenic rolling countryside. The home has plenty of daylight and also with luxury touches, and very comfortable sofa and bed. There is also a log burner which is set up upon arrival ready for use. Bathroom is amazing with plenty of hot water and pressure shower. Kitchen has everything you could ever need👍Hot tub is in a perfect location for the view of the countryside!! The Kings Arms pub is well worth a visit, and within walking distance.

Perfect location for a stopover when travelling to Cornwall. We have stayed here before and would happily stay again in the future. Warm welcome, great hosts, a very comfortable bed, heating that made the room cosy on a blustery night, a powerful shower with plenty of hot water, a mini fridge was a bonus, a lovely private courtyard, and a scrumptious breakfast. We asked to change a few items to our breakfast order, which was accommodated to perfection.

Lovely friendly & helpful staff, hugeroom with 6ft bed and large ensuite with bath. Good evening meal in restaurant and excellent breakfast. More than £30 cheaper than local large chain hotel without breakfast, so exceedingly good value.

We were greeted very warmly by our hosts. The apartment was lovely. Very comfortable, huge bed and great linens,a large sofa and separate chair to watch tv, small, practical kitchen with everything one could need. Lovely walk in shower and separate bath. An added, unexpected delight was having access to the garden straight from our rooms. Seating available, very quaint and quiet. I sat after having my bath in the morning and read, a rare treat and the weather was fab!
