We really enjoyed our stay at Gosforth hall inn. It was super dog friendly with a short walk to a field with amazing views to exercise our dog. We had drinks in their beautiful beer garden before & after dinner, I had the steak & mushroom pie which was superb. The room was very clean & comfortable with a modern bathroom with a really good walk in shower.
Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice & set us up for the day. I only wish we could of stayed for longer, but will look forward to returning.

Our stay at the Rainors Farm was extremly relaxing. The view was stunning, there was no noise, just farm animals and birds. Claire was very forthcoming and could read our minds. She made our stay just perfect! The homemade breakfast was excellent!

Location was spot on. Climbed Scafell Pike Saturday so stayed the night before. Breakfast hit the spot for the big climb. Views from the beer garden were second to none.

Great food. Great location. Was expecting it to be busy and was pleasantly surprised to find it quiet. Had a great meal and a great nights sleep followed by a lovely breakfast.
Great location opposite Bower House Inn, good pub for dining. Relatively quiet part of the Lake District which is ideal for us, but easy reach of Eskdale, Wasdale and Ennerdale. Comfortable accommodation for two ( we stayed in the muncaster view cottage). Nice garden to sit in too.
Our stay at Dale View Bed and Breakfast was welcoming with a great location and the room catered for all our needs, good selection of refreshments, useful toiletries, comfortable and hosts not welcoming but accommodating with your needs. We would book again!
A great location, perfect base for walking and very quiet.
We managed Pillar from Wasdale head, a great flatter walk around Ravenglass, and a beach walk - very enjoyable…
The Sawmill near by was great for lunch!
Lovely, quiet and scenic bed and breakfast. Exactly what we were looking for to explore the western fells of the Lake District. Food was excellent both at breakfast and dinner. We loved the cosy decor and charming character of the building. Staff all friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Will be coming to stay again.
The bed and breakfast was very clean & the bed very comfortable to sleep in. Jo is very good at making you feel welcome and makes a very good cooked breakfast to your liking. The property is very quiet with lovely views and a really a pleasure to wake up naturally with no alarms or external noise.
If your travelling solo and want to ride the local roads this is a great place to be based out of.
The room was fine, a good size, quiet from other guests, good shower. The location was great which made a lovely change from Bowness. No need to drive or walk outside to find dinner, the food there really was fantastic. Excellent breakfast included. All the staff were very friendly and made us very welcome. Best value stay we've had in the Lake District so far.
