The B&B was a lovely family run business in a great location. The staff were warm and friendly, the breakfast was delicious and everything was clean and tidy. We were travelling to Lundy Island after our stay here and the owners of the B&B provided really helpful advice on the best place to park our car while we were away - we really appreciated this as it made things much easier.

Great cabin with everything we needed, towels, toiletries, washing liquid, towels etc.Just a 10 min stroll into town and to the Paladium which was the reason we were staying for a music event. Great comfy bed and lovely shower. Nice and quiet location.

The hotel is a grand old hotel with a lot of history. It is in a good location and parking is easy and free to residents. Housekeeping and bistro staff were friendly and attentive. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. There was a lovely residents' lounge with views over the river.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Great location with easy access to many different parts of North Devon. A beautiful, quaint cottage that fit our family of 6 comfortably. Owners were lovely, very helpful and accommodating. We will return.
Breakfast was delicious, with a lot of choice. Beautiful, rural location, quiet and peaceful. Kevin and Maggie were charming hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. Our en-suite room was spotlessly clean and super comfortable.
Peaceful, quiet, calm, very comfortable. Super comfy bed and all you need in the usual bedroom and en suite set up. The "extra" was having a lovely private sitting room with a log burner fired up by the hosts for me. in the eveing so i could work or relax reading.
The locality is good for touring and visiting Rosemoor, the coast and historic sites in N Devon.
And i should mention excellent breakfasts and friendly hosts as well.
Oak Cottage is in a great location close to Great Torrington town centre, yet very quiet with lovely countryside views. The kitchen / bathroom is very well equipped with everything you need for your stay and it felt like home from home. The private garden is a real bonus to enjoy in the fine weather. Spotlessly clean with comfortable beds.
Charming and helpful hosts. Lovely mature garden.
Well located for RHS Rosemoor gardens.
Excellent breakfast and breakfast room with real antiques.
We’ve stayed there several times and it always meets expectations.
The farm was up a long private road and took some finding but after a phone call to the owners, we made it. The room, which was separated from the rest of the house by a utility room, was overlooking the garden and was very cool despite the heat of the day. It was also very quiet at night. Breakfast was excellent, with hot food cooked to order and cereals and fruit etc available to help yourself.
The room, was quiet, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was excellent. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and provided just the right amount of attentiveness. The private bathroom was excellent with a magnificent shower. Little Silver is 2 kilometres (a mile and a quarter) to the edge of Torrington where there is a petrol station, (with a Simply M&S). I prefer walking to driving, even so, facilities in the smallish town centre, like the pubs, shops, take-aways and the Plough Arts Centre were easily accessible.
Great location, Ken and Jean are great hosts, the best welcome we've ever had, a pot of tea and biscuits. Excellent room and a wonderful breakfast. Book it. Treat yourself!!
