The location was very handy to the Coast to Coast route. Due to the wet weather and being absolutely soaked through, I called in and luckily managed to book a night at The Swan. The staff, room and food were great. They were so accommodating. Staying there enabled me to dry my things, rest and recuperate for the remainder of my walk.

Very nice place to stay. Really nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. Great location with free onsite parking. Breakfast options were good and excellent quality.
