Boasting a shared lounge and views of sea, The Old School House B&B is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Gairloch, 2 km from Gaineamh Mhor Beach. The property has mountain and garden views, and is 11 km from Inverewe Garden.

The location was perfect in the centre of the village. Delicious breakfast was delivered to the room, which I could enjoy at my leisure. Very peaceful setting and comfy bed and I'd definitely recommend it.

With free WiFi, this bed and breakfast provides a satellite flat-screen TV, a washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and microwave. A private entrance leads guests into the bed and breakfast, where they can enjoy some wine or champagne and fruits. The property has an outdoor dining area.

Very friendly hosts. It’s a spacious, comfortable self contained apartment with its own entrance. The place is spotlessly clean and has everything supplied that you will need for a short stay. There is a restaurant nearby that does carry out but we went to the nearby village to buy food. There is plenty of space to park the car as well.

We liked the kindness and friendliness of the hosts. The scenery from the breakfast room was exceptional. There was a good choice of fruits also for breakfast.

Everything was good, no faults. We have a dog and the room was perfectly fine for what you often get for having pets. Bathroom a bit outdated but again perfectly fine. Everything was clean. The room was much cheaper than anywhere else around for miles. We had no issues and a nice enjoyable stay. Location is great. We had dinner both nights and the food was great. The staff were incredibly friendly too, especially at dinner. One night there was a musician which was enjoyable.

The house was comfortable, spacious, had some great vintage/Retro furniture, crokery and glassware that mixed really well with more modern necessities such as WiFi and comfortable beds. Great location and views over the harbour.

Friendly helpful hosts. Very comfortable well appointed large room. Fast WiFi, good shower. Very quiet and peaceful. Stunningly beautiful view of the Loch and mountains beyond from the room. The village of Gairloch is charming and interesting with some many good eateries of different price ranges. The museum is full of interest.
