Newburgh Inn is located 10 minutes from Aberdeen and Ellon, a 5-minute walk from a sandy beach and Forvie National Nature Reserve, home to a seal colony. Known as one of the oldest golf courses in Britain, Newburgh-on-ythan Golf Club is also nearby.

Great location for our purposes Excellent room. Food good. Staff excellence! Minor glitch with the booking sorted out efficiently. Pays to call the hotel the day before to check especially if you have made changes on Booking.com.

    Nice and quiet location with really comfortable bed and chairs. The bathroom was also really nice. There was breakfast in the fridge with a nice table set up in the room with berries, yogurth, tea, cheese, etc a and a toaster.

    Had a lovely stay, only criticism I have is when checking in there was no one Manding reception area and we were left for quiet a while needing and press the buzz for a attention repeatedly although I could hear staff, and I get they could have been busy maybe just acknowledgement to say I’ll be with you soon or something but there was nothing, I did worth after this how our stay would be but we actually had a really good stay

    Nice room, close to the seal beach, and 20 minutes drive to Slains Castle. Lots of parking and easy check-in. Very relaxed check out too. Breakfast is on till 12 pm, which is good as you can go after 11 am check out. Staff were nice. Everyone we dealt with were friendly and attentive. The pub and bars are good prices for a small town too.

    Easy access to property, ideal secure garden for the dogs, excellent size kitchen and well equipped and good sized bedroom's, clean on arrival, and living room a good size for a family, nice and quiet location with short walk to ythan hotel which does great food, although not dog friendly in restaurant but good undercover seating outside for you and dogs. Overall a great property in a great location with easy access nearby beaches and supermarkets.

    Very friendly and welcoming host. Lovely clean bathroom and comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast served in the dining room overlooking the beautiful garden. Close to Ellon town. Our bikes locked securely over night in the barn. Very quiet and rural location which we really appreciated.
