We enjoyed our stay. albeit for only one night. The beds were comfortable and the room spotless. The host was a lovely lady and very helpful. The breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty, it also included a range of cereals, porridge and yoghurt. We will certainly return when we are next in the area!

Everything, location, food, staff very attentive, they changed our room to the ground floor due to mobility issues. The menus were full of a variety of foods to suit all tastes. Good choice on the breakfast menu

A beautiful location. Very peaceful and charming. Private parking at the front with plenty of room. The bedroom was a very good size and the views from the windows were wonderful. Hazel was a wonderful host. As my other half is a coeliac, she bought him some gluten-free bread for his breakfast. We took a short walk in the morning, and the area is just lovely. At breakfast, we had a lovely chat with Hazel about the story of the house and surroundings. Very interesting indeed. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely quiet location. Very private. Plenty to do in nearby areas. The lodge itself was of a high standard and more than met our expectations. We would love to return. My only negative comment would be that it states BBQ facilities on booking.com but there was only a metal stand that I wouldn't have a clue what to do with other than place a disposable BBQ on. We did come with BBQ food and just cooked it on the oven which wasn't a problem.

The location was super especially as we had a dog. Also the rooms outside in the courtyard were lovely, quiet and private. You can walk into town if you want a change from pub food.
