Isabelle and Robert made the most fantastic breakfast for us both mornings. The breakfast room was gorgeous and comfortable, and they had a great menu. We had an early start the first morning to take an excursion to the Isle of Skye, and they were so accommodating to our timeline. Additionally, the bedroom was wonderfully comfortable, a good size, and stocked with a fresh, warm bake by Isabelle each day- a delicious surprise! They were absolutely the friendliest, kindest, and most thoughtful hosts we've ever met. The location is off the beaten path, down a quiet, residental-looking road lined with gorgeous cottages, which was exactly what we were looking for. However, it is just a 20-minute walk to the town center, and only a 40-minute walk to Urquhart Castle on a beautiful walking path that hugs the coast of Loch Ness- thank you, Isabelle, for that recommendation! If we ever make it back to the area again, which we hope we will, there's no doubt that we'll stay with Robert and Isabelle again.
