There was nothing NOT to like! Hugh and Anabelle communicated with us before we arrived and offered to book a table at the nearby pub. They also assured us there was a safe place to store our large tandem bicycle. On arrival we felt most welcome (almost like long lost relations!) The Annexe was beautifully appointed with absolutely EVERYTHING we could need or want. The bed was extra comfy and the bathroom and whole place spotlessly clean and neat. We wished we had booked for longer and were reluctant to leave.

Charlie was so accommodating and we loved every minute of our stay. Nice and clean. The bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was continental style breakfast but Charlie even made us bacon & egg rolls to help with the wedding hangover. Lovely relaxing place to stay in the countryside.

The location was very quiet surrounded by beautiful countryside with stunning views from our bedroom. The bedroom was large and well equipped including a fridge and microwave. The large bed was comfortable. The extra touch of biscuits and fresh milk was appreciated. We really enjoyed the landing in front of our room with the huge clock, the antiques and the photo gallery down the staircase was very interesting. The bathroom was well equipped with lots of extra touches and the bath was very luxurious. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly and it was like home from home. The breakfast was excellent. We would definitely recommend to friends and family and would love to be able to visit in the future.
