Really comfortable, clean, quiet. Perfect place for coming to and from Inverness Airport or for joining the NC500. Lovely quiet countryside and beautiful views. Heather couldn’t have been nicer to us. We appreciated the lovely breakfast and snacks that were left for us-fresh milk and juice, fruit and yoghurt in the fridge, bread for toast and shortbread and oatcakes as well as plenty tea and coffee. One of the best places we have stayed at.

The cottage is a lovely property, with ample space, fully equipped, and in a great location to explore The Highlands, particularly in and around Inverness, Dingwall, etc. The owner, very generously, left several welcome items such as milk, shortbread, confectionery and even white wine and beer!

This is such a great place to stay a few days! Our lovely host was welcoming us with open arms and always happy to help. If you need recommendations for evening activities, restaurants, tourist's attractions or just another slice of bread, Heather will provide you with everyone one would need. The guest house is located just a short trip north of Inverness in a quiet villages, which makes for a quiet night*s sleep and a great location for road trips. I highly recommend staying at Straw View and enjoy Heather's hospitality.
