Great cabin with everything we needed, towels, toiletries, washing liquid, towels etc.Just a 10 min stroll into town and to the Paladium which was the reason we were staying for a music event. Great comfy bed and lovely shower. Nice and quiet location.

The hotel is a grand old hotel with a lot of history. It is in a good location and parking is easy and free to residents. Housekeeping and bistro staff were friendly and attentive. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. There was a lovely residents' lounge with views over the river.

Lovely room, spacious & spotlessly clean. Toiletries provided. Kettle with tea, coffee & biscuits in room. Huge en-suite, all very modern with great shower. Lots of choice for breakfast - pancakes with fruit & Greek yoghurt was delicious. All staff were absolutely lovely. Great location too.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
It was old and very quaint. I like that and it felt exactly right for being in that village.
Great for rooms and the adaptions made to be a guest house was as good as it could be given the Listed building status.
The Red Lion is in a superb location on the sea front at the bottom of the value. We walked the coast path and could see the hotel from miles around. Clovelly is a wonderfully quaint little village and we are so glad to have visited. Dinner in the Snug was very enjoyable and good quality.
