Jt was strictly average in all departments. Over priced breakfast Sky tv showing football. This is not a hotel but a pub with half a dozen rooms. Everything about the room smacked of doing it on the cheap. The bed was clean and comfortable i will give them that and it was quiet which was good. I cannot recommend this place for the reasons mentioned.

We had a fabulous 5 nights at Ty Mawr. This is a great boutique hotel in stunning surroundings. I loved that it was small, quiet and incredibly relaxing, but with an excellent food, friendly and helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Very high quality food and great selection wine. Buster, their dog is great too! We did some long walks around Brechfa forest which was stunning.
