We had a wonderful stay at Fairfield House and Gardens. We had a very nice room with all amenities. Everything was super clean. The garden was really beautiful. The breakfast was very extensive and delicious. Every day there was freshly baked cake by our host Nick. He was very friendly and helpful. If we are in the area again we will definitely go back. Highly recommended!!

Our stay at Stockghyll cottage was the highlight of our two-week trip throughout the UK. The hosts were welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. The location is great -- just a short walk into town (Bowness), and the scenery is beautiful and serene. The breakfast is made-to-order every morning. Highly recommend!

First time in UK and first time in Windermere. My wife and I stayed in 5 different hotels in UK during our 2 weeks in UK. This is our top 1. We spent 1 night here. Breakfast is awesome with really good taste and a variety of choices. Room is nice, host is a very nice person. Everything is so good and we will definitely come back and stay here again if we visit Windermere again in the future.
