The Riverside Inn, hotel in Billericay

The Riverside Inn is a converted 17th-century mill situated on the River Chelmer, just 5 minutes’ walk from Chelmsford town center and Rail Station.

Value for money. Decent sized rooms with everything you needed. Most of the staff were nice enough. I wouldn’t say friendly, but they did the job politely.

The building and location is outstanding with garden and seating ample for our family gathering plus walks from the property. The weather was sunny but in inclement weather there is room for everyone to relax and enjoy company relaxing or eating. The kitchen is modern and has everything needed to cook large meals and is easy to use. Bedrooms are also spread out from each other with the stained glass window a bonus in one. quiet for sleeping. Plenty of parking and very easy to locate the property. very beautiful.
