This honestly was one of the best B&B's I have ever stayed in. This B&B is even better than most 4 and 5 star hotel. I was put in a bigger room as the occupant was out sooner so Petra said she was giving me the bigger suite. It was so lovely, and big. The sitting and dining room absolutely gorgeous, as was the bedroom and the bathroom. I have some photo's so I will add them. As it's Autumn now and quite a lot colder I was worried as sometimes rooms can be cold but this place had a lovely wood burner and once that was on, the whole suite was warm. The bedroom had two radiators also, and the bedroom was a little too warm for me so had to open the window. The bedroom is huge and the bed is so comfortable, and the mattress just right. The sheets, pillow cases and the towels all smelled divine and were so soft!! The toiletries were good also. There was a little fridge, microwave and a kettle with a lot of teas/coffees and some fresh milk in the little fridge. I normally go out to a restaurant for dinner but this place was so cosy I ordered in from an Indian restaurant that was recommended to me by Petra. Highly recommend, Abdul's Kitchen, delicious food at affordable prices delivered straight to the door. I had bought some desserts and some wine to have after dinner. You will see this is one of the best places ever to stay. If ever I am in the same area, I will make sure to see if this is available. I must also say the breakfast was outstanding. It is better than a lot of hotels. The amount of food you get and the quality, again out of this world. Lovely Petra also brings this to your suite so you can have it in the comfort in your pijama's if you so wish. This B&B gets a 10 out of 10 from me. Truly an absolutely stunning place!

Great location, big rooms all en suite, excellent breakfast. Restaurant and bar menus are a bit limited but everything is cooked to order so is nice and fresh. Also the cooked breakfast and hot meals are served on extremely hot plates which means your meal isn't cold before you can finish it. I personally hate a hot meal on a cold plate. They have a good selection of ales. If you fancy a snack then I can recommend the pint of fish and chips!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Was very comfortable, clean and welcoming. Pam is a great host and makes sure you have everything you need and more. Breakfast was very good and beautifully laid out with fresh fruit, jams etc. Will definitely be our place to stay when over that way in the future. Perfect place to stay with your dog which is a must for us.
