Great location only a few minutes walk from the car park and main restaurants in Carmel. The room and the amenities offered in he room were outstanding. The quality of the bathroom would put most 5 star hotels to shame. I would recommend getting room 5 if you can. The breakfast in the morning was delightful as well, the staff were friendly and welcoming. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

It is a lovely place to stay, very good staff and even better food and service. A breakfast chef that knows how to make scrambled eggs to perfection, I get sick of staying at places that can not do such a simple task.
The evening meals were superb, full of flavour and fresh.
We will be back.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The cottage is really charming and a lovely place to stay. It's a great location to access the Lake district returning to relax in the quiet of Mews Cottage.
Good quality breakfast with juice, yougurt, and full fry and plenty of coffee. Fair number of choices at dinner and all reasonable priced. Only small criticism was accessing the sink in the knott room toilet.not a lot of room due to fitting private facilities into small space.overall I would rate it highly and say it is good value.station was about 300 yards from hotel and were trains every hour and very cheap to travel on l travelled to Carnforth,Lancaster and Ulverston and the dearest return was £6-40
great location on the sea front. the staff were very friendly and a single female traveller, made me totally at ease and welcome. my room was tucked at the back and whilst it didn’t have any view, it was very quiet
Nice evening meal and excellent breakfast served by friendly staff. Great location overlooking the estuary/Morecambe Bay. Bit of TLC required in the shower room but otherwise all good. Really enjoyed the singer/guitarist who played in the bar area in the evening. Great entertainment.
