Wonderful country house and family home run as a bed and breakfast.
We were the only guests staying for our 2 nights so very personal service and we were upgraded to a bigger room as travelling with our collie. Fabulous choice of breakfast served to order. Homemade breads, jams, compotes available.
Enourmous comfortable room with large bath in the ensuite (Curtis Room)
Advertised as electric car charging point which was part of a reason for choosing Ballymote. This was available but you will need an adaptor with a 13 amp connection as plug into outside mains.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Great location, super friendly and accommodating owners (cute dogs too 😉). Everything is super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was Amazing! Great choices (picked evening before), plentiful - full for the rest of the day!
We were very lucky with the weather so got to enjoy the whole experience at it's best 😎😎 it's a great location with lovely scenic country views. Really friendly hosts who made our 2 girls feel so welcome straight away and they loved getting to meet all the animals. The chickens kept us entertained 😊 And the pizza was delicious !! 😋 🥰
Our time at Drumlin View Cabin was so private, and peaceful as a couple. The Bbq hut was a bonus on our second night. We dined in Captain Jack's Bistro, Portaferry, no complaints. We had a booking for Sunday dinner at the Saltwater Brig, 20 minutes away was the perfect end to our stay. We have no problem with recommending Philip, his cabin and surrounding areas for a wonderful time away for couples of any age.
Great view from cute sized log cabin. Very private, quiet, well equipped and clean as a whistle. Owners home is close by so felt very safe and secure there. So glad they left milk as well as bread, butter ,cereal and teabags- such a lovely touch!! Would definitely recommend. 👍👍👍
Stayed for one night in this lovely B&B, full of character, located in the beautiful and quiet countryside. The room was super comfortable and the bathroom was impeccable. The breakfast was hearty and delicious. Jennifer was a great hostess, very helpful with providing information on all the best places to see in the area.
It had everything I needed, very well provisioned. The drive to, and the views at, the cabin were both amazing. It was quiet and private but the hosts were great at restocking linen and towels etc. Would happily stay again.
