We had an amazing stay in a beautiful double room with a sea view for one night. The room was comfortable and immaculately clean and the large bath was a lovely added extra as was the fridge and coffee machine. We ate in the restaurant and had a delicious evening meal and the breakfast was tasty and generous the next morning. The staff we met were very friendly and polite too. Overall we had a lovely stay would like to return one day as the location was a perfect base for a weekend in picturesque Appledore which we also fell in love with.

The B&B was a lovely family run business in a great location. The staff were warm and friendly, the breakfast was delicious and everything was clean and tidy. We were travelling to Lundy Island after our stay here and the owners of the B&B provided really helpful advice on the best place to park our car while we were away - we really appreciated this as it made things much easier.

What a gorgeous little hideaway - everything is so perfect in there and I was really comfortable for a night before my work event. Everything inside is finished beautifully and there were so many lovely little touches, like the hot water bottles, lamps. and smart light on the bathroom mirror. The shower water was lovely and hot and there is a really cute retro fridge. Everything you need is right there. Food can be delivered to the cabin although it is only a short easy walk downhill to the quay. (a little tougher coming back up the hill).
This historic hotel has first-class food, friendly service and a great location for North Devon's sights, including Clovelly village and the picturesque Tarka Trail for walkers and cyclists.

The hotel is a grand old hotel with a lot of history. It is in a good location and parking is easy and free to residents. Housekeeping and bistro staff were friendly and attentive. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. There was a lovely residents' lounge with views over the river.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The views are fab! The apartment is a great size for families. Don't be put off by the boat yard it's really quiet. Wish I could have stayed another day just to cook with the doors open looking at all the boats sailing by.
The house was in a great location for visiting places in North Devon. Appledore was about 5 mins away by car, such a lovely place.
We loved the space of the house and also the good views of the estuary. The house was comfortable and quiet and parking was easy which was a bonus! All in all, we had a really lovely break!
