St Valery Boutique Bed + Breakfast, hotel in Amble

St Valery Boutique Bed + Breakfast offers adults only accommodation in Alnmouth, 46 km from Newcastle upon Tyne. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Each room includes a flat-screen TV.

Everything! Beautiful, spacious room - tasteful and comfortable, with every facility the heart could desire. Lovely bathroom, also spacious, with a great shower and plenty of hot water. All absolutely spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were well cooked, plentiful and delicious, with a great menu to choose from, and Harvey willing to accommodate special requests. The X-factor was, in fact, Harvey and his enthusiastic co-host, Roxy (the Jack Russell/Dachshund). You couldn’t wish for a more welcoming host, with lots of advice and information on the area, which was very useful. A very entertaining and interesting person to talk to,with a great sense of humour. Entertaining and hosting is Harvey’s forté.

We were shown to our room. We had a castle view. The bedroom was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Lovely little touches such as the LED candles that we used as a night light. We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, both beautifully cooked and delicious.

I loved the original and quirky way the buildings had been restored and renovated. We also enjoyed the big tables at breakfast where we could chat with other guests. A very comfortable stay.

Very clean, great location, parking for £3 for 24 hours a 3 min walk away. Some previous reviews mention noise as it’s a public house. We stayed on a Saturday at the front and it wasn’t anything to be concerned about. After 11:00 all was quiet. We both slept well, breakfast was amazing and staff were great. We would stay again without hesitation.

Lovely clean room nicely decorated with everything needed and nice to have fresh milk and a fridge in the room. We have stayed in quite a few other hotels and bnb in the area and this is by far the best and considerably cheaper. Great location

Really clean room and shower room. Modern furnishings light and fresh. The landlord and staff are lovely and can't do enough for you, even the regulars in the bar were welcoming and friendly. Great location, it is on the main road and there is traffic noise but this quietens down at night. It is a room above a pub so there is some noise but, again, quietens down when the pub shuts. Great value for money and can't be beaten for friendliness.
