The double room that I booked was nice and clean and had a lovely, cosy and homely feel to it, down to the beautiful decor. The ensuite bathroom was clean with a good working shower and lots of hot water. I also enjoyed the extra fridge and microwave facilities. The host was very friendly and accommodating and ensured that I had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I enjoyed a very peaceful rest at this place.

Location is close to the bus stop. Staff are super friendly and helpful. My foot was injured during my travel. When I checked in, Trish helped me with my luggage and brought ice to my room for pain relief. Daniela always has the warm smi.le on her face no matter when I saw her.. She even brought the diner to my room. Breakfast is excellent with many choices. I love to have dinner here as well. The burgers are delicious. The chips are so soft inside with a thin but super crispy crust.. I can't stop eating.... The room is very clean.

The room was comfortable and large. The staff was very friendly, warm, and accommodating. The parking was a bit off-putting at first but don’t worry, it’s close by and simple to work out. Also, there’s so much to see that’s very close by! We didn’t plan out enough time.

The hostess was very friendly and accommodating, cooked a fresh full breakfast every morning and offered assistance on places to visit even provided a parking disk. Breakfast was taken in a room with a view across the valley. Even though the B & B is close to a major highway there was little noise. Parking was easy on the property..

Situated within the picturesque Northumbrian countryside, Rye Hill Farm sits within 30 acres of grounds and offers free off-road parking. A games room is available, with a skittle alley, table tennis and a pool table.

I could not have asked for more! This farm is about 400 years old and it is lovely. Went for a short walk before breakfast only to have an incredibly picturesque moment of a momma sheep and her lamb lying by the fence which overlooked a valley; beautiful flowers to include lilacs, poppies, and Roses; and a lovely yellow Labrador which provided the warmest of welcomes! Elizabeth provided a delicious full English breakfast that included freshly-baked homemade bread. The room was immaculate with wonderful fluffy towels. The house was decorated with both antiques and modern decor to include some awesome sewing machines that were about 100 years old. My room was located on the second floor. There is no elevator, but Elizabeth was right there to offer a helping hand. She is a fantastic hostess and her farm is an absolute gem! It is on the outskirts of town, so someone without access to a car needs to plan accordingly.
