Chambre d'hôtes la Teinturerie, hotel in Wasquehal

Chambre d'hôtes la Teinturerie, a property with a garden, is situated in Roubaix, 1.4 km from La Piscine Museum, 1.4 km from Roubaix National Graduate School of Textile Engineering, as well as 4.2 km...

The accomplished and hospitable hosts Gilles & Co make this place an attraction by itself. The setting is unique, relaxed and interesting. The nights are quiet, the enclosed garden provides fresh air, no noise. The room is comfortable. Roubaix has an interesting industrial past and the complex of which the BnB and art room are a part testifies to it. The wonderful museum “La Piscine” is at a 10’ drive.

Ferme de la Forterie, hotel in Wasquehal

The location was brilliant for our stay, with personal business to take care of in nearby Bondues and Wambrechies. The room was quirky but well appointed and full of character. We'll be back at least once later in the year

A charming, magical room set in a garden full of enchantment and animals. The whole place was an oasis of calm, just the sound of the birds and running water. Isabelle was a lovely host. We looked forward to her knocking on our door in the morning with a basket of bread and pastries fresh from the boulangerie. A delightful place to relax.

What a beautiful property. Super clean throughout and amazing history. The host Camille was fantastic and so helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, typically French and really filled us up until lunchtime. Everything was as expected and some. If you’re looking for a B&B near Lille then look no further than here. Highly highly recommended.

Lovely staff!! Helpful that most personnel also spoke fluent English . Check-in smooth . Very friendly lady on counter answered questions despite busy weekend with full hotel . Cleaning lady prepared room nicely. Breakfast provision better than anticipated at 9am after scores of rugby fans had eaten. Fresh pastries, eggs and dairy products produced near end of service . Security codes worked well at midnight to access car park and hotel. Rooms relatively cool in heat wave and seemed surprisingly quiet despite busy weekend.

Small, tiny, somehow lovely room, funny for the kid to walk the leather up to the bed. Good restaurants around the hotel. Big supermarket just across the roundabout. The receptionist was very nice with us and helped us to store the bikes in a private room. Free parking. You don’t pay much for the night so definitely worth it if you don’t have high standards and leave after 1 or 2 nights.
