Switzerland
The hosts are warm and helpful. The rooms are comfy and breakfast is both excellent and a fun time to chat with the hosts and get some tips for the day ahead (plenty of hikes and restaurants nearby). In the summer, the thick walls of the old renovated house keep your room cool (it was about 33°C outside when we were there, but inside was likely close to 20°C). The private parking lot is convenient (and free). We hiked in the Ecrins, starting from Névache: highly recommend, ask the host for details. Also: the rooms are much better then they may appear on the pictures.

Host was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Meals (dinner and breakfast) excellent. We enjoyed the location (mountains and exceptional views). Great stay and would not hesitate to return.
