The rooms can be made really dark to garuantee a good sleep. The breakfast is very fresh and delicious. Combined with the charm of the little town and the stunning nature that is great for hiking, cycling and fishing there isn’t much more you can wish for!

My room opens on a terrace right on the bank of the lake. It had a lounge chair and a chair. Great view. I also had the best croissant and baguette for ages. Really crusty as they should always be.

Lorna is lovely. A very friendly and helpful host - nothing was too much trouble. As she lives at the B&B she knows all the local places to visit, shop and sightsee. Super breakfast, comfortable and stylish room, great bathroom, and good wi-fi. We will definitely stay at Vue sur la Vezere again.

The place was lovely and they couldn’t have been more helpful, room was bright and airy and the communal area warm with a wood burner in the evening. Breakfast was perfect bread, with lots of meats and cheese. Cereal and yogurt as well but only had the yogurt, coffee machine so it was on tap and you could drink as much as you liked. They even had a fridge with beer in and you wrote down what you had.

Recommended without hesitation. My wife and I had a marvellous time - Hubert and Fatih are such welcoming, delightful hosts! They have created a remarkably cosy, charming space in Les Jardins Saint Eloi. Which acts as an ideal base for all sorts of activities, including mulitple nearby hikes, water sports, and spectacular stargazing from a readily accessible peak a short drive away. Breakfasts with Hubert's homemade confitures were a treat, and the dinner d'hôtes they hosted was delicious, too. These thoughtfully prepared dinners are understandably not available everyday. So it's worth making some restaurant bookings during your stay. Hubert and Fatih have great tips. And they go the extra mile - even literally in our case - like when Hubert helped us out after a flat tyre cycling back one day. Total Tour de France SOS moment! All in all, a rare gem. We're grateful for the experience ☺
