Beautiful tranquil setting with warm welcome from Hélène and Jean. Wonderful rural chateau with super rooms and view. Lots of tailored sightseeing info with maps. Area new to us but many pretty bastide villages and churches.

Our hosts, Philippe and Veronique, were extremely welcoming. They cooked us a lovely supper, which we enjoyed together on the terrace overlooking their beautiful garden. The swimming pool was crystal clear and warm! Would love to go back and stay in the guest house or the gite!

Nigel was very friendly, giving us a comprehensive tour of the property and even making us a booking in a great local restaurant. Beaumont itself made a nice stopover on our way back to Bergerac, with easy access to other bastide towns and markets.
