Lovely rural location, peaceful and quiet set in its own spacious grounds. We had the deluxe room which was a large airy room with comfortable chairs to relax in and have a coffee. Very comfortable bed and en suite shower room. Dawn made us a fabulous breakfast of eggs, toast and jam and croissants

Everything! From the communication before we arrived, to the warm welcome from Anne when we arrived. The room is lovely, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. It has everything you could need for a great stay. The swimming pool is fantastic, again spotlessly clean and warm.
As for the breakfast, we'll that's an experience you need to have. Beautifully presented, think more art than food, and equally delicious. Normally served by the side of the pool, unless the weather is inclement. The perfect way to start the day. If we could give 11 out of 10, we would

Best: the hosting - I've been traveling continuously for over 2 years now, and Marie-Claire is hands down the best host I've met. Made for this business! Warm and outgoing, helpful, delightful to get to know; she really extended herself to us to make sure all went well.
Locaation - In a charming and quiet little nook of Thouars, an easy walk to the wine fair and a scenic climb into the center of town.
Property - Fascinating multilevel property with many charming spaces outdoors, and well furnished indoors.
The hotel was ideal for me as in a quiet location and there was parking for my motorbike.
As I was travelling and only staying for 1 night it was perfect.
I took the option to have breakfast in the hotel and it was excellent.
The hosts were super, interesting to talk to and helpful. The apartment had everything: kitchen, bathroom. the bedroom was spacious and the bed was comfortable. for breakfast I enjoyed a good breakfast, fantastic view and the company of a charming cat.
Easy to find location. Good car parking spaces. Excellent breakfast with nice big fresh croissants and pain chocolats. Also decent coffee. Receptionist very helpful. Would stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely Bed and Breakfast right on the River Thouet. Breakfast was delicious with many homemade jams and eggs served to order. Very quiet at night. Excellent restaurant suggestion! We hope to return.
We loved everything about this stay. Super clean and comfortable, private use of pool, amazing location in the town but also really peaceful. Lovely hosts who were there if you needed them but also have us our space. Our kids loved the swimming pool!
