This is a very special place, which really impressed us. It's great value for the price. The standard of the room, communal areas and the pool was very high, akin to a high end boutique hotel. In a good way, the property feels in the middle of nowhere - down a long dirt road, in beautiful countryside. It's very low key and quiet - we spent a good part of one day by the pool, and there was no one else about. We had it to ourselves. The owner was always available if needed but in the main left us to our privacy. Up the road, a 10 minute drive away is the lovely village Tourtour, perched on the hill - great for evening meals (lots of choice for a village) and sunset drinks, and wandering round during the day. We stayed in 8 different hotels, B&Bs and guest houses on a 2-week trip in S France, some of which were considerably more expensive than Domaine Monte Verdi, but it was without doubt the best place we stayed.

Very welcoming, warm and authentic hosts. Nice pool area and most amazing breakfast (‘grand déjeuner’). The hosts were very accommodating and helpful with tips and sights in the area. Great premises for bringing a dog as all is fenced in and they can roam around unsupervised. Felt like a home away from home!

It is a beautiful property in large grounds which have been restored magnificently. The owners were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property is tranquil and relaxing. It was a lovely holiday and we will return. Highly recommended
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The apartment was lovely as was the view from the garden. Sergio and Elisa were great hosts, very kind and generous, nothing was too much trouble. Very quiet location, good parking and only a short walk to Salernes centre.
The house was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The well-kept pool, football table and ping pong were very fun for our kids! Denis was so nice and a great host. He checked in with us often to make sure all was well.

The place is truly charming and the host is a wonderful person. The house is perfectly equipped, the perfect option for holidays for a family or romantic gate away.
The hotel is beautiful. The room was large and clean and newly renovated to the highest standard. An excellent breakfast was served every morning on our own little terrace. The swimming pool was lovely. Extras - like a fridge in the room - were easily available. There are pretty villages in the vicinity to be explored, loke Tourtour or the Lac de Sainte Croix. You will, however, need a car to get around.
From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed and looked after. The property is so beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. The family room was set away from the main house with its own outdoor setting and felt very private. Yann and his wife were so lovely and generous with their time providing us with delicious breakfasts each day and lots of information on the local sites to visit.
The accommodation was in a great location tucked away in the old village but close to the center of town. It was nicely decorated, well equipped and very clean. The private courtyard was wonderful with the sun on it for most of the day.
Typical village house in Provence. In the middle of the village - no parking possibilities but we found a spot on the municipal parking situated 2 minutes fron the house by feet. That was super easy. The house is located in a quiet small street. Check- in process super easy - was great.
