Restored by the family that owns it and obviously loved by them, this is a genuine chateaux with bags of character. Expect a chateaux experience 'French family' style. The rooms are large, the beds are comfy. There is even a games room with a pool table and a lovely outdoor pool. There was plenty of choice at breakfast. There are two lovely restaurants five or so minutes' drive away and ample parking. The owners could not have been more pleasant or more helpful. Excellent!

The house is well situated, calm and with the city center in footwalk distance. It is well equipped and we found everything we needed. Protected parking in front of the house was also included. The host was very kind and helpful and provided us with an extraordinary breakfast.

Close to the GR5 / E2 long distance path in an area where there are few accommodation options I was really glad of Le Clos des Pommes. Lovely spacious room with all I needed and an excellent breakfast.

First and foremost I would like to mention the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner: she even offered to carry one piece of luggage upstairs without being asked and she brought extra cheese for breakfast as the marmalade is too sweet for me.
And I had a real chambre d'hôtes experience having breakfast together with a french couple and their adult daughter. Ideal if you want to improve on your language skills. Because of this I consider going back when the occasion arrives.
