The hospitality was exceptional from Pascal and Silvia. We arrived late and they had themselves been out all day but they insisted on making ourselves and another couple a meal. Which was delicious 😋. Breakfast was exceptional and Pascal made a fantastic breakfast which included homegrown produce and homemade waffles. Would definitely recommend to anyone about staying there.

We enjoyed 6 nights at the villa. it’s important to be honest & I’ll start with positives, the location is spectacular, only a short drive from some of the most beautiful parts of the Dordogne. The pool & gardens are very private and lovely. The property is very well equipped and we did enjoy our stay. However, being honest it is not luxury. We felt a little ripped off as it was overpriced at almost 500 euros a night. Ewan let it slip that he had “jacked up the price of our booking” which left a sour taste as we really felt the pricing does not reflect the quality of the accommodation. For us it felt too much like staying in Ewans home. for example, as you walk about 20 pairs of his slippers are all hanging on the wall, too much personal stuff.

It was a superb find just loved it. Beynac is a very beautiful Especially enjoyed Chateau Baynac, Castelnaud and the Marquessac gardens. The boat cruise trip and canoe from Vitrac to Beynac were wonderful. Virginie and Bruno were gracious hosts great breakfast served and highly recommend.
