This was one of the most comfortable bed and breakfasts we hve ever been in. Decorated tastefully and highly functional. They thought of everything we may need including a bedtime storybook for our son. Extra points for having the fire going when we arrived in the evening, the easter chocolates, the nightlight, the delicious breakfast. The owners were warm, lovely and clearly have a love of hosting. We recommend wholeheartedly, and would love to come back another time.

Wonderful place, very kind hosts, and very comfortable beds. We stayed for five nights and had a wonderful view of the Pan de Sucre mountains. The breakfast was excellent with a lovely spread of breads, home baked cakes, homemade jams, fruits, juice, and fresh coffee. The hotel was only a 5-7 min walk to the center of Plecy and right up the road from restaurants along the Ome River. Perfect!

I loved everything. I had a single room in a house that had two other rooms, so I could have been sharing the accommodation with a couple of others, but I was the only one there so had it to myself. Seemingly there is other accommodation where sharing would not be an issue. The house is a very old characterful property in a small hamlet a couple of kilometers from the beautiful small town of Pont d'Ouilly. The catering facilities in the house were excellent; just about every implement that could be imagined. It's a very rustic property in a beautiful area (la Suisse Normande), which is excellent for hiking. There is a large back garden that, when the sun shines, has somewhere to be in the sun at all times. Eating in the garden is entirely possible. If you don't want to self cater, there are eating possibilities in Pont d'Ouilly, but that would probably involve a drive. In some ways, the landlady, Denise, was one of the highlights. She is so welcoming and helpful. I immediately felt totally at home. Denise lives in the house opposite. The accommodation was her parents' home.
