enjoyed being in the jungle room, plenty of space, comfy bed, wifi that worked, goos shower. Nice outside space, shame we didn't really get the weather to make the most of it. Parking good. The communal kitchen and lounge were really good. Enjoyed breakfast. Easy walk into town.

We spent five nights at the Clos Grillet. It is the perfect location for a cycling trip in the Alps. Sophie and Bruno were great hosts - nothing was too much trouble. Bruno even helped us to mend one of our bikes! As a cycling destination, there is secure storage for bikes in a garage and e-bikes can be recharged overnight. And breakfast was very, very good indeed with bread and croissants fresh from the boulangerie, eggs from the resident chickens and tomatoes fresh from the garden.

The location is in a small commune just off the road between the Col du Lauteret and Briancon. Wonderful mountain scenery with great walking trails in the summer.

A pleasant surprise! The Maurienne valley is crazy busy, I was not expecting a good night's sleep. But this hotel has excellent Aircon, triple glazing, helpful staff, comfy bed, quiet. I slept like a log.
A lovely place to stay. A charming Château in a peaceful environment. Nothing spared on breakfast, every choice you can imagine. I want to come back for another stay. The owners are kind and helpful. A great opportunity for a fabulous holiday.
