Maison JEROBOAM, hotel in Saint-Estèphe

By far the best welcome we've had in years of traveling. We immediately felt as if staying with old friends and the vibe throughout the stay was of relaxed holidays. The rooms are very confortable and clean with a fun mix of old and new. The location is extremely quiet and peaceful. The hosts are fantastic and take care of their guests like family. I can't recommend this place enough if you wish for a calm stay between vineyards.

Chateau Haut Baron, hotel in Saint-Estèphe

Featuring free WiFi, a tree-filled park and an outdoor swimming pool, Chateau Haut Baron offers accommodation in Saint-Estèphe, in the heart of St Estèphe Medoc vineyards, 10 km from Pauillac, and a...

The chateau is located in a stunning area, with the path leading through vineyards and the most popular chateaux in Bordeaux. The room is situated in a historic mansion, where you can also see the winemaking process and buy your favorite wines. The hostess is extremely hospitable and creates an atmosphere of true French provincial life. The breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of wineries and fully embrace the aesthetics.

La Maison Blanche à Saint-Yzans-de-Médoc, hotel in Saint-Estèphe

Set in Saint-Yzans-de-Médoc, La Maison Blanche à Saint-Yzans-de-Médoc offers accommodation with a rooftop pool, a patio and city views.

It was perfect in every way and they definitely undersell in their pictures and words how beautiful their place is. The house is stunningly original while also having brilliant modern touches. It is full of colour and intrigue but not overly busy and fussy. If shared bathrooms are a concern don’t let them be! They are fantastic and there are two separate toilets for five rooms and two incredible shower rooms for four rooms (biggest room has own shower). Hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. Parking is plentiful and secure though suspect not an issue in this small village anyhow. Outside seating areas are plentiful and uber relaxing. Loved having a bottle of local wine in their covered courtyard area of an evening. It is also so quiet unless you include the sound of bird song which is plentiful. This place should be full every single day.

The room was VERY spacious and had a nice view to the back gardens. Giles, the house manager was lovely, very accommodating. The house has lots of extra rooms to lounge in with reading material and games. There are only 5 rooms in this big house, so very comfortable and quiet.

Because there are only 5 rooms available, it really felt like a private stay in a large french home. Gilles was friendly, attendant and happy to meet all requests. We stayed with two other couples who were travelling and visiting the Medoc with us and Les Ormes de Pez could not have been better.

Charming and helpful staff. Wine from the owners many estates (Pez des Ormes, Lynch-Bages, Haut Batailley) is available to buy at prices slightly lower than in shops. Sunny lawn with swallows and one hare. The owners offered a free visit to Lynch-Bages (they do this if space available) the next morning. Since there were not many people staying (only 5 rooms) it felt like we had the Chateau to ourselves!

Beautiful Château, recently renovated to a very high standard. Lucie gave us a very comprehensive and interesting tour and tasting…. we were lucky to have been allowed brief access to the winery as it was the beginning of the harvest. Excellent breakfast and lovely terrace to sit out on in the evening sunshine.

Location, staff! Really nice little Château- cozy & friendly environment. Not luxury but we felt there better than in a 5 star hotel bc of the very nice atmosphere & tranquility. Very nice, old-style building and charming rooms! We definitely recommend!
