The large old chateau has been sensitively restored and furnished with interesting modern art much of which is for sale. There is a sense of grandeur - elegant rooms with tall ceilings, impressive staircase. The bed was superbly comfortable and the large room had everything you need including a smart TV on which you can access your own Netflix/Youtube/Prime account, and a good shower. Breakfast was served in the beautiful old dining room and consisted of excellent-quality fresh croissants, pain au chocolate, baguettes and delicious home-made jams with a choice of salted and non-salted butter, together with as much fresh coffee or tea as you want - a really excellent French breakfast. Free parking just outside the front gates, town centre 2 minutes walk away. The owner was attentive, helpful and discrete and we will definitely stay there again next time we visit Lauzun

Beautiful surroundings with a lovely big pool. Sandrine and the others living in the house with you are so lovely. The place is very rural so car rental was a huge help for us.

Madeleine is a perfect hostess, nothing is too much trouble. Secure parking for our motorbike, pool was a welcome addition. The room was a great size, lots of coffee in the morning. Beautiful setting, quiet, fan in the room helped in high temperatures. we’ll definitely be back xx
