We had a lovely getaway with Sophie and Phillipe! The property and rooms are beautiful and we enjoyed being able to have both the space and connection with nature and the location close to lovely small towns and conveniences. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious, and the hospitality and kindness of the family and their sweet dogs made us at home immediately.

On our late arrival we had our room upgraded to Superior Suite for free and have been welcomed with glass of wine. Léonie and Michel are extremely kind hosts and we immediately felt like at home. Shame we had no time to use the pool.
The room was spacious and with air conditioning and had separate dining room as well as fridge and coffee/tea facilities. There was as well outdoor veranda where we had breakfast. So plenty space if you want to chill out and play with Pilou.
Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Just perfect place to stay if you want to getaway from noisy city. Merci beaucoup Léonie et Michel :-)

We stayed at the Les Secrets du Defends for a week and it was amazing. Everything about this property was incredible starting from the owners who were so nice and friendly. Place was quiet and with a feeling that you are in the middle of nowhere but you are near nice,Monaco,Saint Tropez etc. which makes it good location to stay. Next to property was nice hiking track that led us to nice castle. Breakfast was more than wonderful, Muriel’s nice jams were perfect, we even had one jar as a gift from her.

I want to thank you for your accommodation. late reception saving me from sleeping under the bridge (10pm). it was good to stay at your house. add a washing machine to the services, it was a surprise to find it at your place very well for well-travelled people. and parking in the common area, although not private, but visible through the windows. everything else was wonderful. nice tidy rooms. the house is near the street, but no cars could be heard
