A double room, gave us plenty of space. A pleasant breakfast was available every day, buffet, but always a different selection of bread or pastries, along with cheese and ham fruit and yoghurts. The property was secure with an electric gate, which you have free access to. The heated swimming pool was lovely, a handrail could help some people get in and out. The gardens were tidy and well kept. Our host spoke good English.

This place lives up to its name! Animal lovers will especially like it as there are numerous hens and cats, plus turtles in a range of sizes. The room/bathroom is an outhouse at the bottom of an artfully overgrown garden (the host, Moon, is a knowledgeable gardener) and the kitchen is an annex at the other end - with a table and loungers in between. A wonderfully relaxing spot. Thank you Moon for your recommendations for good local beaches and a truly amazing oyster restaurant. Also for sharing your passion for music with us. The room and the entire property was approximately what I had expected. Relatively simple, not in the fanciest neighborhood, but everything was clean and alright. Annie was a very good host. Very helpful, friendly, good advice for places to visit, also happily engaging in a chat. The breakfast that she had prepared for me was very good, with freshly pressed juice, fresh bread from a bakery just around the corner, and a variety of delicious home-made jams.
