I don't give 10 easily. Rooms on a boat itself is a great concept, but Joel's spin on things made our stay really carefree. Christophe and Benoit were fantastic hosts, making us feel very welcome, and inviting us to share a pleasant drink with them after we enjoyed a long day out sightseeing in Nantes. They have a stylish 4th floor duplex apartment, with outside terrace/balcony at 2 levels enjoying river and city views. Our room was very comfortable with our private bathroom along a short corridor. The area is safe and quiet at night. We stayed for 3 nights, enough to see most that Nantes could offer and also time for a train trip to explore Angers.

A very warm welcome from Christophe and his family. The ensuite bedroom was comfortable and quiet, looking out onto the garden. The breakfasts were amazing: fresh fruit with bergamot and mint, freshly made pancakes, apple tart and scrambled eggs, wonderful bread with homemade jams and excellent juice and coffee. A very convenient location for local shops and restaurants and also for catching public transport into the city, though it was not too far for walking in either.
