The location - not adjacent to the motorway, but a pleasant drive through lovely countryside. The village is great. Small, compact and friendly. Food in nearby restaurants was excellent and good value. The room was well equipped, clean and quirky.

We spent a very quiet night at La Charmeraie. Georges our host was very discreet and helpful. He made a reservation for us for dinner at a very good restaurant 1 minutes walk away and prepared a delicious breakfast for us in the morning. Wonderful decor and comfortable beds.

The view from the window and terrace was exceptional across the countryside. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit, home made yogurt, fresh baguette and jams, cheese and egg. A beautiful, comfortable and uniquely decorated space with plenty of room. Highly recommended.
We thought that the breakfast was very well presented. However we were surprised at the lack of any fruit at all - we have had fresh fruit salad at all our recent stays in France.
