Mylène and Jean-Paul were absolutely fantastic hosts and very welcoming! Breakfast was incredible, definitely the best we've had on our travels, homemade cookies, cakes, waffles, bread, jams...we had a feast. And Jean-Paul's wine was absolutely delicious. Our children particularly enjoyed spending time with the animals and playing table football. The house and surroundings are truly beautiful and we had a great night's sleep in very comfortable beds. None of us wanted to leave and we will definitely be back next year!

The owner was more than friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious. Homemade jams, fruit salad, sausages, cheese, yoghurt, fresh bread and pastry, fruit juices and fresh bread.

This is a very beautiful house in a lovely location. It is within easy walking distance to the town but far enough away not to have any noise. We were welcomed by Marie-Pierre and made to feel at home straight away. Nothing was too much trouble and even phoned a local restaurant made a reservation for us. We had a comfortable night's sleep. The breakfast the next morning was plentiful and Marie-Pierre made waffles which were extremely tasty. We spent a pleasant morning speaking with her husband who also helped us grately with an alternative route through the Pyrénées. Thank you to both of you for making our stay so pleasurable

We stayed in the bell tent.
It was beautiful , so peaceful and quiet.
The only noise was the wildlife. Owls at night and the bells on the sheep in the morning from an adjacent field in the distance.
Watch out for hedgehogs on your path , coming back from dinner after dark.
Our host booked us into the most amazing, authentic French restaurants for both of our two evening stays.
One was literally in the middle of nowhere.
The local red wine is fabulous.

Location looking over the valley was beautiful. Being in the hot tub looking at the view was even better. Property was very quiet and comfortable. Local boulangerie was excellent.
We had a short stay at the hotel, as we had a wedding close. Chateau Roquehort is a charming and quiet bed and breakfast, managed by a nice British couple. It is very well located in the middle of the Jurançon wine wards, close to Pau. The breakfast is tasty and full of fruits and bakeries.

Great hospitality and welcoming atmosphere, Richard and Nikki made us feel at home .As we were tired of travels we have asked them if they can prepare us a dinner which they have .we had amazing 3 course dinner prepared by Nikki.Nice an comfortable bedroom,bonus of outdoor pool , great walks and scenery with wine yard just next to the property. We had excellent breakfast with attention to details and presentation.Overall great experience and we would wholeheartedly recommend the place and the owners.
The location was incredible, and totally unexpected. The hills, houses, woods and vineyards make for a beautiful place, and you can enjoy the views from the lovely garden (with chairs and tables). The room was spotless, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was abundant and the home-made yoghurt delicious!. Monein has a good tourist information centre and restaurant. I would totally recommend coming here.
