Fantastic stay! The room was large, comfortable, and very quiet for sleeping, has a very good shower, and the property is beautiful. The hosts gave us a warm welcome and a delicious breakfast, including homemade yogurt, bread and jam along with baguettes, croissants, juice and coffee. This is a much better location for people cycling the Canal de la Garonne than Marmande and other towns farther off the trail, and there's secure bike storage.

We loved everything about it! The Chateau is beautiful, crammed with gorgeous antiques and objets. Our suite was huge and super comfortable so we were able to relax in style. The pool is large and warm with comfortable sun beds and towels. Samuel and Catherine are superb hosts who really make you feel at home ( as do the rest of the family especially the dogs!) This is not a run of the mill hotel experience. We joined their family and our fellow guests for a wonderful evening. The delicious food cooked by Catherine with fabulous wines selected by Samuel - we all left as friends. All of this topped off by a tour of the wonderfully preserved former kitchens in the basement.

the location and ambience were perfect. we stayed for 8 days and made day trips by car and by bicycle - bike paths went for miles right by our door. lots of great little restaurants close by and the dinners that Annie made for us were delicious! the hosts made us feel welcome and p took good care of us. there was a heat wave for part of our stay so the pool was a welcome respite in the afternoons
