Seriously, this is one of the best hotels I have booked. Ambiance is perfect. The room is lovely, large, comfortable, clean, warm and with a beautiful view. 5-10mins walk to the center and nice bars or restaurants. Breakfast was peaceful, with a nice view and appretizing.

Au Coeur de Lille was exceptional in every way. I can not recommend it enough! Location is close to everything in Lille - the old city, a beautiful park, a nice bike trail, good restaurants, art museum, etc. We were able to walk to everything - including the train station. The room and bathroom are absolutely beautiful - very tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. Veronique was an amazing hostess - warm, friendly, gave us great recommendations on what to see and where to eat in this beautiful city. The breakfast was unbelievably good - fresh pastries, delicious breads and cheeses, homemade yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee and tea - just so good. It was wonderful to chat with our hostess and other guests (there are two rooms total) over breakfast. We were very sorry to leave when our stay was over. If you are traveling to Lille, I would definitely recommend that you stay here.

Amazing host. The room was comfortable with everything you need. Even some chocolates and chocolate cakes, Clipper tea, and apples were waiting for me when I arrived. The bed was comfortable, pillow a little soft for my taste, but otherwise I had a great stay. Very quiet area just outside of the city center and within 5 mins walking distance of the metro. Great value stay!

The location was excellent (just a few minutes walk to very nice restaurants and the old town, but in a quiet side street). Our car was kept securely in the owner's garage, which was very reassuring in a large city. The apartment was small but contained everything that we needed and was very clean and the owners were pleasant and helpful.
