The quality of the breakfast was exceptional. The bread was fresh and the home made conserves were a treat.
A lot of thought went into making the interior of the accommodation were homely and charming. It was warm and the shower was hot and powerful. Our host Emilie was very helpful and made a reservation for our dinner that evening. She was also very charming and happy to converse with us in our poor French.

The location is perfect, close to everything and next door to the Cathedral.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
It was a great location, many walkers on the Stevenson trail use this accommodation, the rooms were comfortable especially after a long hiking day - host was so accommodating and lovely
Karen, the host, was charming and helpful. She booked dinner for me and three others at the nearby L’Atelier du Vin which was a good recommendation because it was excellent and not expensive.
Le Repose Pieds is located in an atmospheric medieval labyrinth. I had an attic bedroom with a skylight above the bed which I enjoyed because it was like sleeping under the stars but with all the comfort of a snug little room.
The petit dejeuner set me up for the day. A memorable stopover at the start of the Chemin de Stevenson
charming small guest house in old house in centre of town. Small room but perfectly adequate after a long walk.
