The host was friendly and attentive and couldn't do more to make our stay absolutely wonderful. The room and facilities were well above expectations. The breakfast was fantastic the host even made us Breton pancakes on the last day. The house and gardens are magnificent.

Isabelle was very welcoming and had a dry safe place for our bikes and clothing after we had cycled 80kms in the rain. A good shower and kitchenette to prepare food and a good breakfast.

Lucille was a fantastic host, who was extremely responsive, gave us very detailed information about how to access her place prior to the visit, and most of all had a wonderful, warm and caring personality. Being a mother herself, she was great with our kids, and understood the family dynamic, catering to our needs perfectly. The rooms were very charming, with fantastic views over the old part of Fougeres. It’s a quick walk to the beautiful medieval castle, as well as several restaurants. Lucille gave us some great suggestions for restaurants too. The breakfast was delicious and had a great array of choices. We stayed 2 nights, and all in all, the stay was perfect. I would definitely return again. Next time I’d like to try a massage, as Lucille is also a massage therapist. Unfortunately our schedule didn’t allow for me to have one this trip.
